Please keep in mind that there are a multitude of real world factors that can skew these results, including but not limited to: driver ability, pavement quality, tire quality, elevation, temperature, humidity at the testing site, and the quality of the recording device. Saturn History:

When Saturn sales first began in 1990, the brand was marketed as “different kind of car company”. The purpose of the brand, which was created by General Motors, was to create a unique sales experience for a unique vehicle, outside the general negotiating and pushiness found in a car dealership. The vehicles featured several uncharacteristic attributes, the most unconventional being plastic body panels. The panels, reinforced by structural steel, provided a certain degree of dent resistance. To sell these new vehicles a new dealer network was established, one that would feature no haggle pricing. The total concept, while interesting and acquiring of its own cult following, ultimately failed. In the mid-2000’s, in an effort to reinvigorate the brand, the entire line-up was refreshed. Drawing heavily from GM’s European brands, the new Saturn models were stylish and powerful, providing a markedly more upscale presence as compared to the brand’s utilitarian beginnings. Before the brand was shuttered in 2010 it had brought to market a number of exciting performance variants, including various “XR” models and top of the line “Redline” models.
