The above 0 to 60 Mph and quarter mile times have been sourced from a combination of public publications, private testimonials and individual testing. Please keep in mind that there are a multitude of real world factors that can skew these results, including but not limited to: driver ability, pavement quality, tire quality, elevation, temperature, humidity at the testing site, and the quality of the recording device. Based on this, owners should expect their own vehicles to perform within a general acceptable range of these values.

Saab History:

Throughout its 60-year history Saab became known for a number of things. The Swedish brand had a knack of creating unconventional cars with beautiful aesthetics. Furthermore, while never astonishingly powerful, Saab cars were always excellent performers, adopting sophisticated turbochargers early on. Performance variants can be found in the “Aero” badged cars, which can feature a turbo 4 or 6 cylinder and the rare all-wheel drive. All of which can be found in either Sedan, Coupe, Convertible or the always attractive SportCombi. The pinnacle of Saab performance is the limited run of Viggen vehicles, which featured upgraded engines and suspension. As the brand changed ownership in the 1980’s, becoming a division of General Motors, the brand maintained its cult following. While Saab was ultimately sold off during GM’s bankruptcy in 2010, it has since remained in a purgatory like stasis, with numerous suitors and failed sales since. Given the brand’s rich history the chance still remains that the iconic Swedish griffin can rise again.
