The above 0 to 60 Mph and quarter mile times have been sourced from a combination of public publications, private testimonials and individual testing. Please keep in mind that there are a multitude of real world factors that can skew these results, including but not limited to: driver ability, pavement quality, tire quality, elevation, temperature, humidity at the testing site, and the quality of the recording device. Based on this, owners should expect their own vehicles to perform within a general acceptable range of these values.

Lamborghini History:

Few supercar marquees have such a prestigious and yet tumultuous history than that of Lamborghini. Founded in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini, the company garnered almost instant acclaim for the Muira. The sumptuously styled mid-engine sports car established a new standard in design and performance. After a blistering 10-years the company saw a significant downturn as the global economy took a hit in 1973. A recurring theme for the company. The late 70’s and early 80’s saw the company change hands a number of times after Ferruccio retired in 1974. Ultimately Lamborghini was purchased by Chrysler in 1987.

The early 80’s produced another of Lamborghini’s iconic vehicles, the Countach. A symbol of the decade, the Countach was brash and attention grabbing. Starring in several movies and television shows, the Countach brought a new level of notoriety to Lamborghini. After two more subsequent sales in 1994 and 1998 respectively, Lamborghini found itself at Volkswagen. Here, under the direction of Audi, Lamborghini has continued to evolve. Drawing upon the presence of the Countach and the Diablo, Lamborghini has continued to produce daringly designed vehicles which now incorporate modern electronics and safety provisions that can only be found mass market manufacturers.

One truly cannot make a bad choice when choosing a Lamborghini.
